Sourced from the northern regions of Peru, this magnificent organic and fair trade Grand Cru coffee (Max Havelaar) is produced by many farmers' cooperation. Its production is a family business and respects the strict environmental criteria for organic farming. This coffee benefits from a double guarantee. On the one hand, it is grown following organic rules and controlled at every stage of the production chain, from harvesting to packaging. On the other hand, it has the Fairtrade/Max Havelaar® label, i.e. conform to the criteria of Fair Trade, protecting small producers.

We have selected for you this Grand Cru coffee from Peru that grows at an altitude of between 1000 and 1500m in 95% shade. Harvested between April and September, the beans are processed by the wet method. Its seed is beautiful and slightly bluish; its average caffeine content is 1.2%.

TIPS FOR USING GREEN COFFEE
Decoction:
For a cold decoction, put 10 green coffee beans in a large glass of water at the end of the day. Keep overnight in the refrigerator. The next day, drink the decoction after removing the coffee beans.
Infusion:
For a hot infusion, prepare the cold decoction and reheat it. You can add lemon, cinnamon, or honey. We recommend Panela, which will give it a subtle caramelized taste.
Roasting
Roast the coffee to a Light French "Robe de Moine" to develop all the aroma of this fine and subtle coffee with citrus notes.

ATTENTION: NON-ROASTED GREEN COFFEE - Do not put in an automatic machine with a built-in grinder or in a grinder. Green coffee is very hard and will damage your grinder.
